The YOGASHALA is situated in the beautiful countryside of Andalucia, close to the village of Iznate. It is a wooden framed house with gardens, pool and sea views.There is a separate cottage. The Yogashala is very conducive for the practice of yoga.
Yoga Teacher Training courses are conducted here most months of the year. Residential accomodation is available at the Yogashala and close by. Early booking is advised as places are limited and become reserved very quickly.
All courses are certified with the Yoga Alliance International, and are in the traditional style from India.

This Yoga Teacher Training program will give you all the necessary knowledge to start teaching yoga classes at the Yoga Class Instructor level. It is important that you have already been practicing yoga for at least two years, preferably hatha yoga. However, each student will be accepted on personal merit, and will show a keen interest to teach.
The two week training can also be taken as a personal development course.
The instructor is Manorama devi dasi (Maggie Levein), who is fully trained in UK, Rishikesh, India and at Kaivalyadham Yoga Institute, Lonavla, India.
Manorama has spent most of her life studying yoga, meditation and bhakti yoga, and has her own very popular yoga school Spirit of Yoga, in Southern Spain.

Plans are now under way for a trip to Rishikesh. March 10th – 24th 2011

Set on the banks of the Ganga Rishikesh has long been a spiritual centre. Rishikesh is the holy land of Rishis; yoga and meditation are in-grained in the character of the town. This quest for spirituality and to attain Nirvana draws many to Rishikesh. City jaded souls come here to relax, re-charge and rejuvenate.

We will visit temples, ashrams, little known off the beaten track holy places, stay at an Ayurvedic Spa, receive ayurvedic massages, attend Ganga Arati and walk along the sands of the River Ganges. Yoga classes with local yoga teachers will be available.
