Based on traditional Yoga practice and theory,as well as modern knowledge of the body and mind,this is an in-depth program that will maximise your effectiveness as a Yoga teacher. You will find a new depth to your enjoyment and love of Yoga.
“Spirit of Yoga” is affiliated with Tapovan Dham Dhyan Yoga Center in Rishikesh, India, whose founder is Yogi Yogendra Mishra. The school has developed from the combined desires and efforts of Maggie Levien (Manorama Devi Dasi) and Yogendra Yogi, to spread the knowledge of yoga. It is dedicated to helping people realise their potential, and to develop better health and harmony of body and mind, through the practice of yoga and related subjects.
The Yoga Teacher Training will take you deeper into your yoga journey, and help you to successfully apply the spiritual teachings of yoga to your life, and to the lives of your students.
The teachers are Maggie Levien (Manorama) and Yogi Yogendra. Both teachers are fully trained at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute,Lonavla,India. Manorama is the Director of the Yoga Alliance International, for Spain.
Spirit of Yoga is registered with the Yoga Alliance International and the European Yoga Alliance.
Certificates will be presented at the end of the courses in India by Yogi Yogendra of Rishikesh, and in Spain by Manorama.

There are three YTTC options to choose from:
- 200hr four week intensive in Rishikesh,India.
- 200hr four week intensive in Spain, or as one week a month for four months in Spain, or four days per month for six months in Spain. In UK ten weekends and four self study days.
- 300hr YTTC. Students who have completed the 200hrs YTTC can go on to take a further 100hrs in Rishikesh, India. This will be a twelve day retreat close to the River Ganges, and will enable students to go deeper into their personal yoga journey, and in their role as a teacher.
Costs:
SPAIN and INDIA YTTC four week intensive, which includes all tuition, books, certificate and accomodation (not meals). 1,800 euros
Without accomodation 1,300 euros.
In SPAIN the venue is at the Yogashala, a wooden framed house with gardens, pool and sea views. Accomodation is in single or shared rooms, and there is a shared kitchen, bathroom and sitting room. The classes will take place both outside in the gardens and inside the Yogashala. The venue is a twenty minute walk from the nearby village of Iznate, one of the whitewashed villages of Andalucia, where shops and cafes are available. It is fifteen minutes from the sea by car, and 35 mins from Malaga airport. Once accomodation is booked at the venue alternative accomodation is available in the village of Iznate or at Iznate camping.
In INDIA accomodation will be provided at Sanskriti an Ayurvedic Spa, close to the River Ganges,and at a local Guest House. The course will take place at Sanskriti. OR at The Narayana Resort, a quiet spacious venue with large pleasant gardens.

The next YTTC four week intensives starts on the 12th March 2012. This will take place in Spain in the province of Malaga.
Rishikesh, India: Proposed four week intensive October/November 2012. However,as the teaching is based on traditional one to one or small groups, the syllabus is arranged so that students can enter the course on optional dates.
